Diesel MechanicGreene Construction is seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic to support the maintenance and repair of our fleet and heavy equipment. This role is critical to ensuring our trucks and machinery remain safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance across all job sites.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including inspections, adjustments, and parts replacementDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipmentIdentify and repair electrical and wiring issuesPerform maintenance and repairs on air brake systems in compliance with safety standardsRepair and maintain trucks and equipment, including Mack, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Peterbilt, and VolvoSafely perform heavy lifting and manual repair tasks while following all safety protocolsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentAccurately input maintenance records, repairs, and issues into HCSS (Equipment360)Apply strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all work performedAdapt to changing priorities and support ongoing projects and operational needsQualificationsProven experience as a diesel mechanic or similar roleStrong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, trucks, and heavy equipmentAbility to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issuesFamiliarity with air brake systemsAbility to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environmentStrong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detailPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with brands such as Mack, CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, and PeterbiltExperience with HCSS or similar maintenance tracking systemsCDL Class A or B (preferred but not required)What We OfferStable, full-time employmentSupportive team environmentOpportunity for growth within the companyFull benefits
