Front Desk Agent (Evening Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) Ocean Place Resort & Spa – Long Branch, NJ Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour (based on experience) Be the reason our guests end their day on a high note. Ocean Place Resort & Spa is looking for an energetic, professional, and hospitality-driven Front Desk Agent to join our Evening (PM) Shift Team (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM). As the face of our resort during one of our busiest times of day, you'll play a key role in creating memorable first impressions, resolving guest needs, and ensuring every stay is exceptional. What You'll Do * Welcome guests with genuine hospitality and provide exceptional service from arrival through departure. * Process guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently. * Answer phone calls and respond to guest requests promptly and professionally. * Assist guests with reservations, room changes, and questions about the resort and surrounding attractions. * Resolve guest concerns with professionalism while creating positive guest experiences. * Promote hotel amenities, upgrades, and special offers when appropriate. * Process payments and maintain accurate cash handling procedures. * Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and other departments to ensure smooth operations. * Complete end-of-shift reports, bucket checks, and required documentation. * Maintain brand standards while delivering personalized service. What We're Looking For * Previous hotel front desk experience required. * Strong customer service and hospitality skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication. * Comfortable using computers and hotel management systems. * Ability to multitask while remaining calm under pressure. * Positive attitude with a professional appearance and demeanor. * Reliable, dependable, and committed to providing outstanding guest service. * Available to work 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, including weekends and holidays. Physical Requirements * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. * Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds. * Ability to bend, reach, twist, push, pull, and perform general front desk duties.
