Job Description

About the Opportunity

Are you an organized, customer-focused sales professional looking to build a career with an industry powerhouse?

We are partnering with the fastest-growing commercial entrance, equipment, and facility solutions provider in the industry that is on track to hit $100M in annual revenue.

Unlike single-brand competitors, our client provides customers with an unrivaled multi-brand catalog across commercial overhead doors, specialty entry systems, loading dock solutions, access controls, and building mechanicals. We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to serve as the operational and commercial backbone of the branch—partnering with field sales reps, generating customer quotes, managing order flow, and driving inbound sales growth.

Why Top Inside Sales Professionals Join This Team

  • Critical Operational Impact: You are not just entering data; you are the strategic inside partner to our outside field sales team, branch operations, and commercial clients.

  • Massive Product Portfolio: Work with an extensive multi-brand catalog across commercial entrance systems, automated operators, and building equipment. You will always have the right solution for any customer request.

  • Modern Systems & Infrastructure: Leverage enterprise ERP and FSM platforms (such as NetSuite) designed to streamline estimating, quoting, and order tracking.

  • Clear Career Path: As the company continues its aggressive nationwide expansion, high-performing inside sales specialists have fast-track opportunities to advance into Outside Territory Sales, Project Management, Estimating, or Branch Leadership.

What You Will Do

  • Inbound Opportunity Management: Handle inbound phone calls, emails, and quote requests from commercial general contractors, facility managers, property management groups, and industrial end-users.

  • Estimating & Quoting: Review project specifications, field measurements, and equipment requirements to prepare accurate, timely, and competitive proposals.

  • Field Sales Enablement: Partner directly with Regional Territory Sales Managers to manage back-office workflows, input orders, look up product availability, and facilitate smooth handoffs to installation teams.

  • Order-to-Delivery Coordination: Enter signed orders into the ERP system, track manufacturer lead times, coordinate delivery logistics with warehouse/dispatch staff, and keep clients updated on project timelines.

  • Vendor & Manufacturer Liaison: Communicate with key parts and equipment suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, and custom configuration availability.

  • Account Retention & Service Sales: Identify upselling opportunities on inbound service calls, including recurring Planned Maintenance (PM) agreements and replacement parts packages.

What We Are Looking For

  • Inside Sales / Customer Service Background: 2+ years of experience in inside sales, order entry, customer service, or estimating within commercial construction, building materials, commercial doors/docks, HVAC, plumbing/electrical distribution, or industrial equipment.

  • Technical Aptitude: Comfortable reading equipment specs, reviewing field measurements, and understanding commercial building product applications.

  • System & Software Savvy: Proficiency with CRM/ERP software (NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar) and strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

  • High-Detail Execution: Highly organized, proactive, and capable of prioritizing multiple fast-moving quotes and orders in a collaborative branch environment.

  • Strong Communication: Professional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on building positive relationships with customers and teammates.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation: Competitive base salary + performance bonus incentives

  • Comprehensive Benefits Package:

    • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance

    • 401(k) with company match

    • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid company holidays

    • Paid training and manufacturer product certification programs

    • Long-term career development and internal advancement pathways
