To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers' success as if it is their own.ResponsibilitiesRemove, modify, and install handrails and wall protection systemsPerform wall repairs, including drywall modification, installation of backing materials, and restoration of finishesInstall ceiling systems (acoustic and hard-lid), including framing and grid modificationsPerform removal, repair, and installation of flooring systems, primarily LVTSupport additional project-related tasks (materials handling, site control) up to 25% of total effortQualificationsMust be a U.S. citizen to apply for this jobExperience and skill level consistent with Davis-Bacon classification CARP0022-001 (Journeyman Carpenter)Ability to follow VA direction and work under VA in-house construction supervisionAbility to communicate effectively in English and follow instructionsMust complete: VA site orientation and safety trainingRequired VA TMS courses (ICARE, Privacy, HIPAA, Customer Service, etc.)Must pass VA background check and wear VA-issued identification badgePosition Pays: $60.39 - $65.94/hrAll candidates must be able to:Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shiftLift up to 50 lbs from floor to waistLift up to 20 lbsCarry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distancePush/pull with 30 lbs of forceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
