Mechanical Assembler :

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a reliable, experienced  Mechanical Assembler   to join a manufacturing team in Charlotte. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a new start in the industry.

Pay Rate
$22 – 24 / hr. Depending on experience!

Schedule and Hours
7:30am to 4:30pm Monday – Friday

Mechanical Assembler  Duties and Responsibilities

• Able to use power tools, Battery Drill, Angle Grinder, Circular Saw, Bend Saw etc.
• Use hand tools and wrenches.
• Acquainted with imperial measuring system (inches, feet).
• Acquainted with Metric system would be a plus.
• Read blueprints, mechanical assembly drawings and schematics.
• Understanding of mechanical components and transmissions (no automobile).
• Assembly of mechanical parts on bench.
• Assembly of mechanical parts on machinery.

Mechanical Assembler  Qualifications and Requirements  

• Able to use tape measure (with double scale, Imperial and Metric).
• Able to use measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers.
• Able to work both in a team and independently doing repetitive assembly operations.
• Able to lift to 50lbs.
• Dependable and self-motivated. Motivated to complete tasks without micromanagement, meeting deadlines, and following instructions given.
• Be thorough, precise yet moving to steady completion, not hasty or quick and swift.
• Punctual, Detail oriented.
• Problem solution oriented suggesting ideas for continuous improvement on procedures and protocols.
• Able to work in safe manner.
• Keep own work area clean, organized, and functional.
• Committed to a long-lasting relationship in a pleasant environment with respectful attitude towards workmates and management

Job Type  
Temp-Hire / Temp Assignment (4-5 months.)
