Hiring Overhead Crane Operators!

Days: 6a - 4:30 - M - Thursday. Currently working 6a - 6p

*Nights:4:30p - 3a - M - Thursday. Currently working 6p - 6a

Weekend: 6a- 6p F-Sun (Paid 40hrs)

$18-25hr (BOE)

Job Description:

This role focuses on safely operating overhead and gantry cranes to move, position, and stage heavy materials within a manufacturing or industrial environment. You will support production flow by transporting raw materials and finished goods, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to strict safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate overhead and/or gantry cranes to lift, move, and position materials and products safely within the facility.
• Perform pre-shift inspections of cranes, rigging, and lifting equipment to ensure safe and proper operation.
• Load and unload flatbeds, trailers, and production areas while preventing damage to materials and equipment.
• Coordinate material movement with production, shipping, and receiving teams to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Use rigging equipment such as slings, chains, and hooks to secure loads for transport.
• Assist as a groundman or spotter by guiding crane movements using hand signals and maintaining safe lift zones.
• Stage raw materials and finished goods in designated locations to support production and shipping schedules.
• Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment as needed to support operations.
• Inspect loads for stability and ensure proper weight distribution prior to lifting and moving materials.
• Follow all safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and company policies related to crane operation and material handling.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Taylors, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $42000.00 - $55000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

○ Matches the batch numbers to piece numbers ○ Check drill calibration and fix any inconsistencies before processing ○ Checks the length, and the hole gauge for every 5th piece - Load parts onto machine and run processing operation to print specifications -Monitor the machine to ensure that is it runing at a maximum preformance -Make accurate decision for the robot to process material to meet fabrication needs -Determine processing specifications such as materials, cutting tools, location of cutting lines, dimensions, tolerances, and operational sequences by reviewing blueprints, work orders, tooling instructions, or other written specifications.
