The Overhead Crane Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a dual hoist overhead crane within a warehouse environment. This role involves handling loads carefully, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining clear communication with the team. The operator reports to the Plant Manager & Shift Supervisor and must be detail-oriented to ensure all load securement and documentation tasks are completed accurately. Occasional overtime is offered, though generally, the position does not involve scheduled overtime hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead crane to move loads within the warehouse
• Handle loads safely and securely according to company standards
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations
• Communicate effectively using hand signals or other means during load handling
• Maintain accurate documentation related to crane operation and load movement

Required Qualifications

• Proficient in overhead crane operation
• Skilled in load handling techniques
• Effective signal communication abilities
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in crane operation
