Hospice & Palliative Medicine PhysicianSpartanburg Regional Healthcare System located in Spartanburg, SC currently has an opening for a full-time, board certified Hospice & Palliative Medicine Physician to join the Palliative Care and Hospice teams of Spartanburg Regional. This physician will work alongside two physicians, six advanced care practitioners, nurses, chaplains, social workers, and administration to provide palliative care in the community and in specialized office based practice as well as inpatient consultation. This position requires flexibility due to the patient load and demands of the program.Responsibilities include:Attend IDT meetingsAfter-hours and weekend on call (phone call only) no more than 1/4 rotationWeekend coverage for inpatient hospice home no more than 1/4 rotationPatient related administrative dutiesMust be flexible due to patient load and demands of programPSLF approved institutionExceptional compensation package including:$6,000 annual CME allowanceRetirement optionsPaid MalpracticeRelocation expensesFor nearly 15 years, Spartanburg Regional has fostered a strong palliative care service that has grown to serve patients throughout our system and community.
