Overview
Preferred RN experience in inpatient or outpatient Pediatrics. There will be training requirements in Urbana before transitioning to Bloomington full time. Approximately 8-12 weeks orientation depending on experience level. Delivers and coordinates competent care for patients and families within the designated practice area. Adheres to established standards of care and scope-of-practice requirements while maintaining complete, accurate documentation. Acts as preceptor and supports the development of other staff and healthcare students. Provides health, wellness, and patient education to individuals and groups. Performs telephone triage for patients. Administers medications and treatments as directed. Directs and supervises care provided by other healthcare personnel. Conducts research to improve clinical practice and patient outcomes.

Qualifications
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA); Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR), Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing , Work Experience: RN >1yr
Responsibilities

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $33.11per hour - $53.88per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
